Sometimes you just can’t put into words what goes on inside your own head. Brent Morgan uploaded this image and thanks to his creativity, I have some words. Maybe it’s a disconnect in my brain, maybe it’s because I was exposed to the 80’s, but here is an example of what I look like to my people. I leave the kitchen while I have food cooking, which means half of everything I make ends up as firehouse potpourri. I open the windows in my bedroom while the furnace is still on and I hide in embarrassment at the gas station when I realize the gas tank in the car is already full. I guess I won’t be putting ‘attention to detail’ on my resume anymore. Was I always this mentally challenged or is this something new? It’s a pointless question because, I can’t remember much of the past. I’m not sure I will ever understand. SOME of my readers are really helpful. They send me tips like, “slow down”, “try mindfulness” or “get a therapist”. Huh? I know how to be present in the moment, in fact, I’m so in the moment in my head that I’m pretty sure that’s why these things keep happening. I’m just not in the right moment. I have decided that I have to ask myself which moment I want to be in. Day to day tasks are uninspiring, and right now, we all need some inspiration. So put your headphones on, hook up your bluetooth and get inspired. Burn a few dishes and waste a bit of electricity. Just don’t close that browser window yet.
